The Millers Arrive

Our house officially became "The Holiday House" for the week following Christmas. Jeremy, Emily, Maddie, & Aidan arrived Sunday evening. We had a pretty relaxing week. Grandma Kandy watched the kids Monday night while we went to a bowling birthday party for our friend Scott (FYI - I ended up with the high game of the night betwenn the four of us - 135. Sorry bragging rights, I know). Jer and Wes put laminate flooring down in Kandy's basement. Amanda and Corinne came to town Thursday. We spent New Year's Eve playing games, blitz and Quelf - luckily I don't have any pictures of that. Let's jsut say at one point I had to spend several minutes in a fort constructed of pillows and blankets. All in all, we had a great week although I didn't take nearly enough pictures. Here's a few of my favorites.

Silly Cousins!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve with my family at my sister's house in Springfield. Finn enjoyed chasing his cousins, Donoven and Austin, around. Somehow we left our camera at home so all I have (until Mom emails me more) are a couple pics I took on my phone. Christmas morning was fun. Because Finn had gotten so many presents from other people on his birthday, we decided to hold our presents back and I spent Christmas Eve taking the birthday paper off of it and wrapping it in Christmas paper. Even then, there were too many presents. He quickly lost interest in opening and Wes and I ended up opening most of them

Busy Days& Procrastination Prevail

As I'm sure everyone understands, life got busy and once I got a little behind on the blog it was easier to ignore it than it was to update it. Although I did keep up with my friends' blogs. Well, it's time to face the blog.

Snow Fun

Finn got a sweet custom sled (little cushion for a comfy ride) from my parents for his birthday. All we had to do was wait for snow - and snow it did. On December 27th we decided to bundle Finn up and take a walk down to the grocery stores. A perfect little sled ride. Finn loved it.

Bundled up and ready to go.
Load up.

This is going to be fun!

Here we go!

We stopped at the Pizza King to visit Dawg. Notice Finn looking at Josh's finger. "Hey Finn!"

Check out my bum. :)
It's been to cold to repeat the trip, but maybe we'll get out there again soon.

Last One Year Pics

So much to post. I can't believe it has been nearly a month since I've posted - and what a busy month it's been. We are finally completely moved into the house and enjoying the extra space - more on that to come. Before I post about the holidays, I just realized that I never posted the last pics we took of Finn as he turned 1. I got [another] great idea from my friend, and super blogger, Sheryl to take a picture of Finn in the same shirt every year to watch him grow into it. We chose the Sandy Koufax jersey Wes bought for Walt a few years ago. We took some pictures of him in it when he was 1 week old (they are on our old computer and I have yet to transfer all the pictures and files) and also took these right after he turned 1.
