Easter

We had a very nice Easter weekend. Wes ran in the Illinois marathon on Saturday. Finn and I chased him all around town to cheer him on. We must have logged about 26 miles ourselves - some walking, but the majority in the car.

We had a small Easter egg hunt for Corinne Sunday morning in our backyard. She was looking adorable, as usual, and had fun playing with Baby Finn. She "read" him books while he was in his swing and she was always ready to pat his head and tell him "it's okay." She's a great cousin. Unfortunately, we hadn't found our camera yet so we have no pictures to share.

Sunday afternoon, we headed to Springfield for Easter dinner with my side of the family. Austin and Donoven had fun hunting eggs in the backyard of my parents' house. They even found a dozen eggs that were hidden for Finn. Here they are hunting.

I'm counting Finn's Easter earnings. I think he made about $7 for his piggy bank.

Why are we all leaning?

We stopped in Monticello on the way home to see Grandmother Miller.
